A Final Catchup

Valentine's Day was almost two months ago but it is my last "catch you up" post of this series :) I am going to try and stay on top of this, especially with us moving in a few months!

From Queens to Newport

At the end of February, Matt and I made a trip to Newport, RI where we will moving for one year this June. We started in Queens, NY-- We stopped on the way so that I could finally see where I grew up one more time. It was such a defining experience-- seeing where I came from knowing I was moving in a few months to a very pish posh area of the country. I was also reading A Tree Grows in Brooklyn and to say that it was all just too much is an understatement. To quote Chapter 8, "She was all of these things and of something more."

My early years were spent here in Catholic School.

How Am I This Behind?

I seriously never posted that the NY GIANTS ARE SUPERBOWL CHAMPIONS????????? How could this be?????? Well in case you didn't know, the Giants won Superbowl 46 exactly fifty days ago. And I turned 34 exactly 49 days ago. It was one hot birthday. We celebrated with Vicky, Mike, Chris, and Tony. We banged our pots and pans after the game to let those Philly fans know who was boss. I could not have asked for a better birthday. GO GIANTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

St. Paddy's Day!

Nick and Nate love St. Paddy's Day. Leprechauns visit and leave pots of gold. Traps were set. The leprechauns even left the window open this year. Here are some pictures.

Gaga Visits

Gaga Chi Chi came for a visit last week and we had a great time. We celebrated her birthday early since it is next month. She won't want us to tell you how old she is, but I will tell you this, she doesn't look her age one bit! We love you Gaga.

I know I have been horrible at posting, so I am going to start slow and try and catch up. Notice Nick has lost lots of teeth! Nate is getting bigger by the minute and is so excited to turn four "soon" (in 6 months!). We love all of you for keeping up with our blog.
