Nate All Laughs and Squeals

Ignore my talking and cooing. Enjoy Nate laughing and talking!

Being a Mom...

So here is why I love being a mom-- my three boys.

The man of anyone's dream-- just look at those cheeks!

Who's in charge really?

Big brother loving on little brother.

Now, being a mom also means holding a three year old after he has vomited all over you at 10 PM. Being a dad means cleaning up the bed from the mess. Being a mom means changing a poopy diaper at 5 AM knowing that your baby won't go back to sleep without being rocked. I have to remember the smiles they give us through all of it!! Thank goodness Nicholas is better this morning. Thank goodness Nate is always happy. Thank goodness we have healthy children!

A Playdate

Nick and Nate had their friends over for a playdate on Friday, Page and Jackson. Page and Nicholas have been friends since they were about a year old when we met at the local library, then Gymboree class together, and finally, we got together for play dates. I did not realize howmuch Nicholas and Page have grown until I saw these pictures of them playing together (thanks for bringing your camera Sara!!) They are almost 4 years old! Where does the time go?

Page and Nick playing cars.

Everyone is playing!

This is the picture that gets me! Look at them playing this game!
They look like they are school age!!

Jackson is jamming!!

Disappointing but Wonderful Day

They predicted 1-3, possibly 4-6 inches of snow for our area. EVERYTHING was cancelled this morning, so Nick had his first official snow day off from school. We did our snow cheer around 10 AM (learned it at school).

We got a few flurries. Boo hoo!

We had fun at home though. We set up Nate's exersaucer and he loves it.

I watched with amazed eyes at our new president and the millions of people who were in our nation's capital. Change has come to America. Let's all be hopeful and filled with pride.

"Milk Day"

This is seriously one of the funniest things Nicholas has ever said.

We were watching the weather this morning and the 7-day forecast came up. For tomorrow, there was a graphic of Martin Luther King Jr. on it with the words "MLK Day." Nicholas proclaimed, "Look Mommy. Tomorrow is Milk Day. We can drink as much milk as we want all day!"

Sorry Martin Luther King Jr. We are celebrating by drinking milk!

Nate's First Bites

Nate is finally better and doing really well. Sorry for the delay in posting. We started cereal with him a couple of nights ago and he seems to be enjoying it. The video is mainly for the grandparents to enjoy, but feel free to watch Nate's first bites. It is a funny video because Nicholas makes his grand appearance as always, and I just realized he is singing a very simple "Ode to Joy" thanks to the Little Einsteins. Smart kid.

I visited my mom and Annie last weekend and got some much needed quality time with the bride-to-be. It was awfully strange to sleep through the night and eat dinner out without crayons and a variety of toys at the table. Anyway, the countdown to the Maresca-Ochoa wedding has begun. We can't wait. Nate even got a little tuxedo. Nick is wearing a dapper suit. We are going to look real fine :)

Sick Again...

So we got through the holiday with two healthy boys. They are so darn cute!

aNate started with a cough yesterday and it has gotten pretty bad today. We started breathing treatments and we will see what happens from here. My poor poor baby sick all the time. Say a little prayer for him tonight. Love you all!
