Happy December #1

We have been quite busy this month (as we are sure you have been too!) so I haven't been up to posting!

December is always filled with lots of excitement, so I will be trying to post everyday to catch you up on what we have been up to here in the Fine House.

Aunt Annie came for her annual visit the first weekend of December. We were so excited to see her and celebrate the holidays with her.

Preparing for her visit with decorations!

"Joy to the world" sings my Clark W. Griswald and Russ!

Can you imagine the Griswold house if they had blowup figures back in the 80's?

AUNT ANNIE ARRIVES AND WE EAT CAKE FOR BREAKFAST!

Happy Birthday at 7:00 AM.

30 years old on the 21st of December.
She is getting old!

Relaxing with the boys.

Our first Santa visit.
Nicholas explaining what he wants.

Hi-Ho-Cherry-O! for Nick.

Off to Philly for the day!

Mailing our letter to Santa at Macy's Center City.

Nate poses but hopes his brother remembered to write his requests in his letter!

Nick loves to take pictures.

Here he is forcing Nate for one!

Nick and Santa again! Another great picture!

The tree behind us is part of a fabulous light show that Macy's does.
Waited a long time but I think they liked it, right?

Off to the aquarium where it is decorated with all things Rudolph!

Our first snow!
Aunt Annie and Nick on the roof of the aquarium catching snowflakes!

We are getting very tired. This is all from one day's trip to Philly!

Nate loves to hug every imaginary Santa; he will have nothing to do with any Santa that moves!

Nick loves confetti in any form!

Nate poses for a cheese at home.

Nick also got a Lite Brite from Aunt Annie.

We love you Aunt Annie.
Happy July 5th can't come soon enough!

Crayola Factory

I am behind in my posts but here is our trip to the Crayola Factory last Saturday!

All decorated for Christmas!

The boys in the demo room! How cute is this?

Nate had just as much of a blast as Nick did!

Nick and Mommy crafting.

This is funny.
Nate is mad because I took his marker away.
Notice the blue all over his mouth.
I had to take it.
I just had to!

Nick cutting- he is quite good for a 4 year old!

Finished product- so proud!

Another "spitting image of Aunt Annie" pose.

The biggest crayon ever (with Nick under it!)

The "spitting image of Matt" pose from Nate!

Happy Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving was a very special day for us this year. We have been blessed with a new baby in our family, John Francis Maresca. He was adopted by our cousin Francesca and we were so excited to meet him for Thanksgiving. Can there be anything more perfect as a Thanksgiving blessing??

Nick and Nate watching the parade (Macy's of course!)

Our two turkeys!

Mommy and Nick.
Mommy is 16 pounds down and my face is finally skinny again!

Proud Grandpa Maresca.

Aunt Cathy and Cousin Nick too.

Matt is a pro with newborns.

Nicholas is so sweet with babies.
Doesn't Nick look like an angel here?
Don't let him fool you!

Kisses for John.

Mommy and baby.

Nick devouring the turkey leg.

The day after Thanksgiving always involves preparing the house for Christmas which starts very early in our house. Aunt Annie has been coming the first weekend in December for a few years so we like to have things ready to celebrate with her.

Nate loves all our musical animals on the stairs.
Does he not look like he is two years old already?
Where is my baby?

My three stooges.
Nick's ears look like an elf!

Nate joined in hanging the ornaments.

Nick loves Christmas as much as his Daddy!

Nick putting the star on top.

Hot chocolate after decorating.

Nate takes part in the whipped cream of course!

Happy Thanksgiving to all. May a blessed December descend on us all!
